RENAL ANGIOPLASTY
The procedure of widening the opening of the arteries that supply blood to the kidney is known as Renal Angioplasty.
A small flexible tube, catheter, is positioned in the renal artery.
A tiny balloon is attached to the end of the catheter which is inflated inside the vessel to widen the arteries.
There might be a condition when a stent might be required to be placed.
This stent holds the vessel open. The stent stays permanently inside the vessel to keep it open.
